Care Instructions - Scented Soy CandlesUpdated 2 months ago

Wick Trimming: Trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use to ensure a clean, even burn. Keep the wick centred and upright at all times.

Burning Surface: Always place the candle on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.

Foreign Materials: Make sure the candle is free from any foreign objects before lighting.

Extinguishing Flame: Use a snuffer or other appropriate tool to safely extinguish the flame. Stop burning when the wax is 2cm from the base of the jar to prevent accidents or damage.

Burn Time: Burn soy candles for 1–4 hours at a time. Allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges during each use to prevent tunnelling.

Supervision and Surface: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always burn within sight.

Children and Pets: Keep candles out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Drafts and Vibrations: Avoid placing candles near drafts, vents, or areas with vibrations to maintain an even burn.

Handling: Do not move the candle while lit or when the wax is melted.

Fire Hazards: Keep candles away from anything flammable.

Dust Protection: When not in use, cover the candle with its lid to protect it from dust and debris.

Storage: Store in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

Soot and Flame Care: If soot develops on the glass, allow the candle to cool completely, then wipe gently with a damp cloth. Extinguish the candle if the flame flickers, smokes, or grows too high. After cooling, trim the wick and ensure it is away from drafts before relighting. The ideal flame is steady, teardrop-shaped, and centred.
