What is the difference between tealight and votive candles?Updated 2 months ago
Tealight Candles
These are small, flat candles encased in a thin metal or clear acrylic cup. They're typically used for ambient lighting, scattered in clusters or placed inside lanterns, holders, or glassware for events.
Votive Candles
Votives are slightly larger, cylindrical candles that require a snug-fitting votive holder to contain them as they burn. They offer a longer burn time and a slightly more elevated look.
Both are lovely for soft lighting—tealights are great for volume, while votives add a bit more presence.
