We do not recommend using fluted pillar candles inside glass vessels such as cylinders or hurricanes. Due to their ribbed exterior, fluted pillars allow heat to penetrate the candle more quickly when enclosed, which can cause them to melt and pool at an accelerated rate. This may affect both their performance and appearance.

For best results, we suggest displaying fluted pillars on open pillar plates or holders where airflow around the candle is unrestricted.

If you're looking to use candles inside glassware, our smooth-sided pillar candles are a more suitable choice.
